Pick your sessions

Based on feedback we got from attendees last year, we created three session streams this year: product, strategy and best practices. Check out the agenda on the Summit app to pre-select your sessions.

Get a sneak preview

This year’s Summit is our most product-centric one yet. Visit the Summit Hub for a preview of what’s coming, and check back after the Summit to get more details about these exciting and incredible innovations.

Be weather-ready

Typically, it’s still warm in DC in September—between lows of 60s and highs of 80s. Check out the weather forecast before packing for the Summit.

Plan to attend our Sunday Social

Toast the start of the Summit at the Occidental Restaurant’s outdoor patio from 8 to 10 pm on Sunday, September 17. Fabulous food, delicious drinks and great company—everything you need to get your Summit experience off to an amazing start.

Get social

Share your key takeaways, post photos and check out what other attendees are saying on your favorite social networks. Use the hashtag #VCSummit everywhere on social media.

Check the Summit Hub frequently for recaps

There will be lots of actionable takeaways from our sessions and keynotes. We’ll have recaps on the Summit Hub during and after the Summit, so don’t worry about taking a copious amount of notes.

Plan your Summit outfit

Dress for non-stop networking and learning. Business casual is recommended.

Arrive on time

The Summit has a jam-packed schedule—and you don’t want to miss a single second of it. Workshops start at 8:30 on September 18 for those who registered. The main portion of the Summit starts at 12:45 with our CEO Scott Miller’s keynote. Our registration desk opens at 11:30 a.m.

Enjoy your dinner—under the stars

On the evening of the first day of the Summit, shuttles will bring attendees to the Sequoia restaurant for a patio dinner party at one of Washington D.C.’s most breath-taking locations on the banks of the Potomac River near historic Georgetown.

Stay until the end

We’re saving the best for last. Stick around to hear a keynote from Forrester’s Rick Parrish on the CX reality gap. An entertaining presentation from TED sensation James Veitch will close out this year’s festivities.
